Cats - Part 2 (First encounter with a new cat)

My mom and I saw a "new" cat on our walkies. So I decided that I'd like to meet him.

Yup, this one smells like chicken too :)

Cats - Part 1 (The Attack Cat)

I generally like cats. They're kind of interesting. Here are some pictures from a recent outing with my mom.

But sometimes, cats can be unfriendly. This one lunged at me last year with its front claws splayed causing me to flip my cart over so I'm a little cautious about getting too close.

Dad Goes To Toronto

My dad just got back from a trip to Toronto.

While he was there, he did business stuff, saw some of his friends from school and even one of his professors. He said that he went up to Parry Sound one weekend, where he relaxed with some more of his friends, went on a "pontoon boat" for a leisurely ride around a couple of lakes.

He even got to have a very nice dinner with Meghan, who's going into grad school this year. Dad said that Meghan is really smart, beautiful  and a great dinner guest.

So what pictures did he take for my blog? Pictures of lakes, trees, Parry Sound, loons or even Toronto...nope. He took pictures of his friend's furry kid, "Daisy", who was a birthday present to my dad's friend from his daughter Meghan.

Daisy is three years old now but she was just a puppy when my dad's friend got her. She's a lap dog that likes to lie on her dad's chest. My dad made her first frozen Kong with almond butter and high fat yogurt when she was little.

No scenic pictures but he got "kid" photos. I think that my dad has his priorities right :) Bye Daisy.

It's All About Sam, Part 1

My mom and dad have been noticing that there's a lot of "Sam's" out there...

But, there's only one of me :)

"Bye" for now. Love Sam.

New Coat Keeps Me Cool

Hi everybody, my mom and dad bought a new "cool" coat for me.

It's supposed to keep me cool because it works through evaporation.
First you wet it, wring the excess water out and then put it on.
I feel much better with it on because it's been warm and sunny when I go for my walkies.

Here I am checking out a machine with different kind of wheels.

Owen looked kind of warm so I let him borrow it.

Bye for now.

Holiday Monday

It was a holiday for us Monday and my mom and dad took all of us to the park.
Here I am checking out things a bit.

I'm trying to see who else might be around for a visit. Hmm, no one that way...

Let's look over here...hey what's that in the water?

It's a fish, a "koi" actually.

We didn't see much else. Everyone must be out of town. Oh well,
that's about it. Off to check other things out. Bye for now.
