Hey you guys!!!!

It's me Sam. I'm over here. Come on over - I want to say "hi".

I can see you way over there. Did you guys have a good Christmas?

I don't think that they're going to come over to see you Sam. Why not mom? Well, maybe they're busy eating or doing something else. Let's go and see what else is going on.

Hmmm...I'm going to splash through this puddle mom. Ah, maybe not Sam. Your belly will get all wet and yucky and you'll dirty your coat again.

Hey look mom, little turtles.

I think that they're fake turtles Sam. Yeah, I guess so. But they kind of smell like turkey. Turkey? You must still have turkey on your mind from last night's dinner Sam. Yum, it was pretty good mom. Well maybe you'll get some more for dinner. Come on, let's go home.

We're Okay!!!!

Yay! My lab results just came back and the "bumpie" that was removed on Saturday is just a hamartoma, a benign tumor. My dad is really happy and relieved. But he made me promise to not grow any more "funny" bumps. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all.

I have a little "bumpie"

My dad was rubbing my chest some time ago and noticed a little "bumpie" that he thought might be a pimple or something. Made a note to himself to ask the vet the next time we were in for my acupuncture treatment. Well Janice, my vet thought that it looked suspicious and examined it with an ultra-violet light. Well the next thing you know, Janice says that we should freeze and remove it and have it sent to the lab for analysis. Well my dad asks, "does that mean stitches? Yup, and so he asks my mom to hold me while he waits in the hallway with my sister, Tuvia. My dad doesn't like seeing stuff like that so he shot this picture from the hallway.

I'm okay - a little bald spot and a couple of stitches but I should be good for swimming tomorrow.
Come on dad, it;s okay. We can go now.

Snow Mustache

About two weeks ago we had a little snow followed by freezing temperatures (25 degrees).
Yikes it was cold out. Here's what it looked like at the local park.

Tuvia, you're going to get a cold bum!

Sam, you have snow on top of your nose and you even have a snow mustache.

Okay, I'll lick it off dad.

Better? Yup, that's better Sam.

Okay, let's go Sam.

Sam Says "Hi"

So Sam, where do you want to go today? Let's go see if the goats are out. Okay Sam, let's go.

Hi there, my name's Sam. What's yours?

Oh look dad, he's coming over!

Hi, my name's Sam. What's your name?

My name's Billy. You've got wheels, Sam?
Yeah, a problem with my back a few years ago. But I've got my wheelchair and I'm pretty mobile

That's pretty cool Sam. My friend would like to say hello too Sam. His name is Harry.

Hi Harry, sniff...

Sniff..hmmm..

Well you guys don't smell like cats or chickens.

Well it was nice to meet you Sam.
Come by again and say hello anytime. Bye guys. Bye Sam.

Happy Thanksgiving

We have a lot to be thankful for. Mostly it comes down to good Blogville friends and a general camaraderie of support and understanding, a sharing of life's events - both good and bad. We've lost a few of our Blogville friends and that's always tough because it always reminds us that our time will come all too soon as well. It also reminds us that it's time to hug our own. So thank you friends, we'll "see" you all soon. Happy Thanksgiving and a warm thank you to all of you, love Sam.

Coat On or Off Sam?????

Hey dad, how come I have to wear this raincoat? It's not even raining!

Well Sam, it's because it might rain when we're out walking.
Would you rather wear your winter plaid coat?

Well maybe dad. But what if the wind kicks up like last time?
The breeze from the rear can suddenly chill certain parts quickly.

Well Sam. We can take your coat off and see how you like that. Your tongue is sticking out Sam. Does that mean you're cold? Well dad, like duh - can you see those little white patches around me? That's frost!

Okay, we'll take the coat. We hope that everyone is keeping warm.
Happy Thanksgiving to our friends in America.

City Elections

Recently we had city elections and my mom took me to the voting center so that I could check things out a bit.

It was pretty dull and we didn't get any pictures inside the voting place because my mom didn't think that they allowed picture taking inside the polling center. But hey I got this cool sticker.

Anyways on our walk back, I saw all this destruction and stuff and wondered if we'd just missed the "zombie apocalypse". Apparently all this stuff was for the filming of a segment for a TV show called "Falling Skies" about aliens from outer space. I wonder if politicians and aliens are somehow linked?

Boy, I bet someone is going to have to clean up all this stuff. We hope that you have a good day.

A Cold, Windy Remembrance Day

We had our first frost overnight and today it's sunny but very windy and cold, maybe 40 degrees but with that wind, it feels much colder. So we dressed up a bit in our winter coats.

Then the wind picked up again, blowing our furs around a bit.

I have my socks on. They were knitted for me by Mitch and Molly's mom.

They're really nice and look fabulous.

Wind's kicking up a bit Dad, let's get going...

Tuvia, quit posing, let's go.

Hey Dad, look...a little flower is still around

We hope that you have a wonderful day. We remember all those who have served.

For Macey

Our friends, Frankie and Ernie asked Blogville folks to post a little something cheerful for Macey, who is undergoing some medical tests and stuff.

Unsuspecting stuffie (heh, heh...)

Ah, I don't know what happened. There was a little bitey face and then things went kind of blurry...

We're rooting for you Macey.
