Happy 10th Birthday Sam & Owen

Hi everyone, we're 10 years old on September 14th.
My mom and dad took some shots of us to mark the day.

Hey Owen, dad says that we're 10 years old today.

Well it's gone by pretty fast Sam. Dad keeps saying, "well I can remember when you were both little puppies". Well Owen, humans seem to measure time that way. Hmmm..I suppose so Sam.

So how much longer do we have to sit still? It's kind of warm and bright.

Okay one last smiley shot. Owen, you're not smiling.

It's okay dad. Owen's like that. Let's go have some ice-cream.

Sam's Many Coats

Up here in Vancouver, it's starting to get a little cooler at night, dropping to a low of 54 degrees overnight from a daytime high of around 72 degrees F., so my dad was thinking...
hmm, we'd better see what coats we have for Sam.

Cool Coat (keeps my back cool in the hot sun).

Improvised Coat (not very effective dad).

My favorite coat for Fall.

My yellow rain coat :)

Light nylon wind breaker

Camouflage (snow) coat

Did you see me come up beside you?

Butt naked (favorite fur coat)

Hope you all have a good day. Pet your kid and give 'em a treat.

My (Show-off) Brother Jetta

My brother Jetta went to the Scotiabank and SPCA's "Paws for a Cause" fundraiser and animal awareness function yesterday and a photographer, Arlen Redekop, from The Province Newspaper caught Jetta as he was jumping through a hoop on the agility course and published it in today's paper.

Sam Meets Another Cat

Hey dad, there's a cat over there on a leash.

Sam, be nice or the kitty may scratch you and then we'll have to go to the vet.

Sam, is it a boy or a girl cat?

I don't know dad. It moved before I could tell.

Hmm...it smells a little like chicken...

Maybe you should leave the cat alone. It looks like it wants to pee or poop.

I think that it wants to be alone Sam. Ah, it smells kind of different dad.
Maybe we can ask someone with a cat later Sam. Okay dad, let's get going.
