My mom and dad have that "far-away" look again in their eyes again. It's that stare...it's as though they can see something just over the horizon, that zone between the visible and invisible. Thirteen years ago, they lost their first kid. His name was Wupper and he was a "problem child" - opinionated, vocal, rascally, playful and hard of hearing. Mom and dad miss still miss their first boy. The front porch light is on again. Good night Wupper. You can visit anytime. Love mom and dad.
A continuing story of my life on wheels, love and inspiration.

We Remember Max
Today's the 13th anniversary of my mom and dad's first big Sheltie kid. Max stood much taller than the standard sized Shelties. He was a bit of a recluse, often hiding in the large closet when he was inside the house. He lived a great 15 years with mom and dad. It seems like it was a long time but as we all know, it's never long enough.
We love and miss you Max. We'll have the porch light on for you tonight.

Flower Power
Hey dad??!!...
Yes Tuvia, what's up?? Do you remember "flower power"?

No, not really. I was pretty young when that stuff was happening. Why do you ask?
Well because Sam's been sticking his head into the bushes again and he's now wearing flowers...
That's very nice Sam. Wait until the girls see you...
